ABOUT THE ARTIST

Wendy Erdmann graduated from The Massachusetts College of Art in with a BFA in painting and art education. For the past twenty five years Wendy has been a custom mosaic artist and fabric designer. As a contemporary batik artist, Wendy hand paints fabric for functional and wearable art. In addition Wendy has been designing mosaics professionally for public, private and commercial installations. Her work includes murals, backsplashes, mirrors, signs, hearths and small functional pieces. Wendy has extensive experience working with all types of mosaic styles, materials and techniques including large and small scale works.
